What are you reading?

Are you reading during the holidays? Mavis mentioned in an earlier comment that she's reading a 'Percy Jackson' book. Have you read any of the 'Percy Jackson' books? I saw Leona reading 'Animal Farm' by Geroge Orwell last week. I remember enjoying that book when I was a kid too. At present, I'm reading John Grisham's 'The Confession'. It's about a man on death row who is innocent of the crime that he was convicted of. What book are you reading? Tell us about it. You can mention the following:

1) Title
2) Author
3) What is the book about?
4) Do you enjoy it?

Han Chu is back!

Han Chu returned to school today after a few months in China. He has missed a lot of lessons but he seems keen to learn and to catch up with his work. He assured me that he had been studying on his own these two months and had done both the written and online assignments given to him. I think he did for he passed his English C.A.1 today when he sat for the paper. Are you glad that Han Chu's back? Don't you think he has grown taller and more... um... well nourished?

If you have done badly due to your lack of attention and focus, do make up for it during the holidays by spending more time on your revision.

There are a number of you who are not making much progress in English due to the fact that you do not read much. Please make good use of the time during the holidays to read more English books and the newspapers.
