Relative Pronouns

Today, we started on the sentence synthesis & transformation exercises. You learnt to use relative pronouns to join sentences last year, so exercises 1.1 to 1.7 would be useful for you as a revision. However, some of you are still not sure about whether to include the commas in the sentence. Do click on the weblinks below to find out more. I hope they will reinforce what I have highlighted in class.

1) When do you put commas? Clauses - Restrictive and Non-resctrictive
2) Can you replace 'which' with 'that' or even omit it? Restrictive Clauses
3) Restrictive or Non-restrictive clauses? Quiz

Please see me if you need me to clarify further.
