Remedial Lessons on Subject-Verb Agreement

Hi mrs tay! The subject verb agreement test you posted was interesting as i learnt from my errors. The way they mark my answers was good as they explain what i did wrong like "dont get tricked by..." and "The word "everyone" may sound plural but its actually singular"

Mrs Tay, i know that two singular subjects connected by 'or' or 'nor' require a singular verb.

eg: my brother or my sister is going to England.
eg: Dave's mother or father is coming to the parents meeting.

Mrs Tay, I learnt that when we can used is or are in different place. E.g. One of my best friends is going to the shopping mall.
