Today, you learnt about the first conditional, second conditional and third conditional. Please revise what you learnt in class by reading pages 80-82 of your English textbook again. Here is a quick summary to help you...
First Conditional
- used to talk about a condition that is likely to happen.
- If ... (present tense) ... , ... will + verb ('stem' form)...
- Example [If Tim studies hard, he will do well in the examinations.]
Second Conditional
- used to talk about a condition that is unlikely to happen.
- If ... (past tense) ... , ... would + verb ('stem' form) ...
- Example: [If I were a dog, I would choose to be Scottie.]
Third Conditional
- used to talk about a condition that did or did not happen in the past
- If ... had + (past participle) ... , ... would + have + (past participle) ...
- Example: [If Jack had been an honest boy, he would not have stolen from the giant.]

Shawn, did you have a better grasp after we did the exercises in the Homework Book during the lesson?
If you revise the topic again, you will understand it better. (First Conditional)
If we had more English periods, we could spend more time on this topic. (Second Conditional)
If you had read the notes in your textbook last week, you would have found it easier to understand the topic. (Third Conditional)

I think it is in the second conditional.
now i know what are the conditional of"if".If i had seen the notes earlier,I would have done well in the exercise.
